I’m a PhD Student in the Department of Sociological Studies at the University of Sheffield and co-convenor of the Postgraudate Gender Research Network.
My research interests are in sex and gender, social theories of disability, bioethics and the sociology of medicine. I’m researching the viability of self-identification outside of (or inbetween) sexual dimorphism, with a particular focus on the identities of people who are interesex and the complex relationship between their personal autonomy and corporeal intelligibility.
I am a PhD student at the University of Sheffield and a co-convenor of the Postgraduate Gender Research Network. I am particularly interested in gender, families, sexuality, age and generations. My doctoral research explores experiences of household work with generations of mothers.
Looking forward to meeting you!
